Shipping policy

This Shipping Policy applies to all orders placed through the website of Montescand AB. By completing a purchase, you agree to the delivery terms described below. Montescand AB ships orders within Sweden using reliable carriers or direct delivery depending on the customer’s location.

We use DHL and PostNord for all deliveries outside of the Stockholm region. For customers located in Stockholm and the surrounding areas, all deliveries are handled directly by Montescand AB to ensure a faster and more personalized service.

Standard products that are in stock are normally shipped within 7-14 business days. Delivery times may vary depending on the selected shipping method, the carrier’s workload and your delivery address. Estimated delivery time and any shipping fees are displayed at checkout before the purchase is completed.

Large, heavy or oversized items such as furniture are delivered either through freight carriers or via our own delivery service in the Stockholm area. For freight deliveries outside Stockholm, the carrier may contact you to schedule a delivery time. It is your responsibility to ensure that the delivery location is accessible and that someone is present to receive the shipment.

Custom-made products have individual production times. Once production is completed, the item is packaged and shipped immediately. Production time is separate from shipping time, and the full estimated delivery timeframe is communicated on the product page and during checkout.

If a delivery is delayed due to the carrier or due to circumstances beyond our control—such as weather conditions, strikes, traffic disruptions or operational issues—Montescand AB cannot be held responsible. Responsibility for transport and delivery transfers to the carrier once the order has been handed over to them.

If a package cannot be delivered due to an incorrect or incomplete address, or if no one is available to receive the shipment, the customer may be charged additional delivery or re-delivery fees. Unclaimed packages that are returned to us may also incur a handling fee.

Please inspect your order upon arrival. If the packaging or product is visibly damaged, this must be reported to the carrier immediately upon delivery and documented with photos. Transport damage must also be reported to Montescand AB as soon as possible so we can file a claim with the carrier.

Custom-made products are produced individually based on customer specifications. The estimated production time is 2–4 weeks, and the total fulfilment time (production + shipping) is typically 3–6 weeks.”
